Rosehill Win For Spinning Diamond

Sydney, October 26 – Up and coming trainer Sam Kavanagh featured with a smart winner at Rosehill on Saturday in Spinning Diamond, a $50,000 Inglis Premier purchase from the draft of Mill Park.

A lightly raced five year-old daughter of Hard Spun (USA), Spinning Diamond had been consistent without winning this preparation, but broke through at last to taken the Benchmark 75 event over 1400 metres by three-quarters of a length.

With two wins and two seconds from just nine starts, Spinning Diamond has won over $77,000 in prizemoney.

Spinning Diamond is the first winner for Group II winning Made of Gold (USA) mare Open Cut, who comes from the family of Group I SAJC Australasian Oaks winner Minegold.
