Debut Winner for Rock Status

Gawler, October 7 - Bred and retained to race by Mill Park and Mills Thoroughbred Breeding Partnership, four year-old Stratum gelding Rock Status opened his career with a win at Gawler on Wednesday.

Trained by David Jolly, Rock Status strode clear to win the 1100 metre maiden by two and a half lengths.

Rock Status is a half-brother to stakes-winner Classic Chant and smart sprinter Reldas, who won at Moonee Valley last Friday night.

He is the third winner for Classic Status, a winning Marscay half-sister to Group I winner Serious Speed and to the dam of Group II winner Majestic Music.
