Morphettville Win for Jest for the Road

Adelaide, November 28 - A frustrating run of minor placings was brought to an end at Morphettville on Saturday when three year-old Choisir gelding Jest for the Road saluted for the Jon O’Connor stable.

He scored by a long neck over 1530 metres taking his overall record to two wins and five placings from 10 starts with prizemoney topping $80,000.

Jest for the Road was a $52,500 purchase for Kim Harrison from the Mill Park draft at the Adelaide Magic Millions and is the first winner for smart metro winning Flying Spur mare Show Bling, a half-sister to stakes-winner Forest Spy and daughter of stakes-winner Super Snooper.

Mill Park are headed back to the Gold Coast in January for the 2016 Magic Millions with a top class draft of eight youngsters.
