Another Win for Revitalise

Brisbane, August 14 - – Star producer Dane Belltar is the dam of evergreen seven year-old Revitalise, who scored his eighth victory at Doomben on Saturday.

Now with J,D and C Meagher, the veteran Bel Esprit gelding won over 1640 metres by a length and a quarter, his overall record now eight wins from 40 starts with prizemoney topping $211,000.

A $145,000 purchase from the Mill Park draft at the 2010 Inglis Premier Yearling Sale, Revitalise was originally raced by Lloyd Williams and is a half-brother to Caulfield Cup winner Fawkner and Group II winner Tanby.

He is one of four winners from Group III winner Dane Belltar, who also had Group I placings in the VRC Oaks, SAJC Australasian Oaks and South Australian Oaks.

A grand-daughter of Group I VC Oaks winner Taj Eclipse, Dane Belltar is an exceptional producer and has a yearling colt by Street Cry (IRE) and will foal to Sebring this spring.
