2017 Gold Coast Yearling Sales

Group 1 winners Rebel Raider and Captain Sonador highlight a short, but very successful relationship that Mill Park’s yearlings have had with the Magic Millions. Up and coming runners such as Girl Sunday, a winner of her first three starts this time in, the Gerald Ryan-trained Pipeline, an impressive son of Redoute’s Choice who has won two of his first four starts, the Listed-winning, Group 3 placed Modern Wonder as well as the impressive looking chestnut colt Guard Of Honour, a winner of the Listed Heritage Stakes all continue to highlight the quality that is coming through.

The 2017 draft will appeal to a wide cross section of buyers with the yearlings including your typical Gold Coast sprinting type, to more of your elegant miler plus type. The draft is predominantly from young mares with current, very active pedigrees, by commercial stallions - something which is very desirable to a lot of buyers.
