Shooting To Win x Victory Cry

by caulfield guineas winner

Impressive looking three-quarter-brother to the Listed winner Guard Of Honour, by Caulfield Guineas winner Shooting To Win from a speedy black type family.

Renowned as a race that provides high quality, stakes producing sires such as All Too Hard, Helmet, Starspangledbanner, Lonhro, Show A Heart and Redoute’s Choice in recent years, Shooting To Win not only has the race performance, but the pedigree to make his own statement in the years to come.

Victory Cry, a full-sister to the Listed winner Victory Chant and a half-sister to the Listed winner Reldas, is the dam of two runners, both winners, headlined by the Listed-winning, Group 3 placed Guard Of Honour, a three-parts brother to this colt who resumed for a spell recently with an impressive victory carrying 60.5kg and looks a likely candidate for the upcoming Magic Millions race day on January 13.

Group 1 winners Jameka, Hey Doc, Lasqueti Spirit and Sizzling are out of daughters of General Nediym, with another, Menari, looks a top chance of adding to that in the Autumn after his exciting early spring campaign.

Five winners from just six runners have been bred on the similar Northern Meteor x General Nediym pedigree cross led by this colt’s close relation Guard Of Honour.
